Alderley Edge started the game strongly and 13 minutes into the game they scored a goal in open play.
Knutsford stayed strong not allowing any balls into the D. The first half ended 1-0 to Alderley Edge.
Starting the second half after a good team talk, Fielding, Hine, and Price all helped get the ball up to the AE D and 9 minutes in Katie Price evened the score making it 1-1.
After a well deserved goal, Knutsford had lots of close calls to go ahead, one with Liv Hope battering the ball at the goal with the help of Julie Nicholas and her insane playing, along with Cheshire and Fielding. Then a chance opened up and Hine ran with the ball up to the D and Liv Hope scored the winning goal making it 2-1.
The rest of the second half Alderley Edge were playing strongly trying to even the score but Knutsford’s players weren’t letting the ball get through. The final whistle blew with Knutsford winning 2-1.
